We've all heard the reports on the short positions taken on American Airlines and United stocks before 9/11. Now, there's news of another massive short taken by a mystery trader on the Euro top 50. It's not every day that a man places a billion dollar bet. I haven't done it since my weekend bender at the Quicktrip blackjack machine. Gosh darn it, it's enough to make me bust out my tin foil hat. And apparently, I'm not the only one.
